Shalom Bwana, la saga des Juifs du Congo is, a book recently published by Romillat, located at 17 rue Pascal, F-75005, Paris, France. romillat@romillat.fr. It is written in French, and it tells the story of the Jews of the former Belgian Congo, mainly originally from Rhodes, who create a tiny community in 1910 until 1990 in Elizabethville (actually Lubumbashi), a synagogue in the heart of Africa with a chief rabbi.
